HVO is a leader in the dubbing industry, delivering personality-packed human dubbing for top content creators like Dude Perfect, Nick DiGiovanni, and Jesser. Their business involves complex workflows—from onboarding creators and managing video content in multiple languages to task assignment, quality assurance, and feedback loops. The existing processes were challenging to manage, prone to errors, and lacked scalability, prompting the need for a tailored business solution to streamline operations and enable growth.

Involvement

When HVO approached us, their only resource was a detailed Miro board filled with process diagrams outlining their workflows. Our team—comprising a Product Manager, Designer, and Engineer—conducted a comprehensive discovery session to delve deep into their business challenges and needs.

Within a week, we delivered low-fidelity wireframes that shaped the product vision and aligned the team on the development roadmap. Employing the Shape Up methodology, we coordinated parallel efforts in design and development. The designer refined user flows and crafted the interface while the engineer built a scalable tech architecture using a microservices approach.

We tackled unique challenges, including handling large video uploads, integrating with platforms like Box for storage and synchronization, and Discord for notifications. Firebase Auth was implemented for secure user authentication, and we laid the foundation for efficient task assignment and feedback loops, essential to HVO’s operations.

Our collaborative approach, featuring continuous communication with the HVO team, ensured the product evolved to meet the company’s specific needs.

The result is a robust, scalable CRM tailored to the dubbing industry, addressing pain points across HVO’s operations and positioning them for future growth.
