How much will my product cost?

The cost depends on three main factors: budget, time, and scope. These are interconnected, and defining one allows us to determine the others.

Typically, we start with a small, agile team—one Product Engineer and one Product Designer—delivering the first version in 4-8 weeks. This rapid release process allows us to validate ideas quickly and iterate based on real user feedback.

What tools do you use to develop the product?

At MVP Masters, one of our core principles is rapid releases and fast validation. While we prioritize speed, we never compromise on quality or scalability. To achieve this, we use popular and reliable technologies for building products.

We code primarily in TypeScript, using Next.js as our frontend framework and NestJS as our backend framework. For infrastructure, we leverage AWS and GCP, deploying serverless solutions that are auto-scalable and require minimal management.

Another principle we hold dear is the integration of tools and automation like Zapier, Make, and n8n. We carefully select and implement the best third-party tools to enhance efficiency and support execution in areas like marketing, sales, and customer support.

What happens after the MVP?

After the MVP, we offer flexible options: maintenance, handover, or scaling. Our aim is always on growing your product.

What is BRIDGeS?

BRIDGeS is a structured discovery framework designed to align teams and clarify product direction. Developed by Railsware, it builds upon the Inception method and shares similarities with the Value Proposition Canvas.

The process begins with identifying the core problem and then exploring various solution options. Through collaborative brainstorming, the team comes to a shared understanding, resulting in a clear, actionable roadmap that everyone is on board with, ready to execute.

What is “theHeart”?

theHeart is a framework created by Railsware designed to quickly release the core functionality of an MVP. The concept behind it is to focus on delivering the most valuable feature first, without any additional complexities.

For example, when Railsware built Calendly, their initial version (the “heart”) was just the calendar feature—no login, no event creation—just the core functionality that provided the most value. This approach allowed them to validate product-market fit early, ensuring the product resonated with users before expanding further.

Shape Up is a game-changer for any product team. After experimenting with numerous methodologies, we’ve found Shape Up to be the clearest, most transparent, structured, and productive approach.

Shape Up offers two key benefits: it helps us stay organized by following a well-defined process, and it ensures we focus on delivering work that truly matters. The process involves shaping ideas in a specific way (check out a shaped idea example here), setting an appetite (defining how much time we want to spend on it), and then trusting the delivery team to execute the best possible solution within that timeframe.

If you already have the scope defined, we’ll break it down into cycles, each with a clear release plan and defined delivery outcomes. Our focus is on rapid 4-week cycles, followed by a ramp-up week, ensuring consistent progress without distractions. While we can plan a broader roadmap, we typically focus on a 3-month horizon, keeping flexibility for adjustments based on feedback and iteration.
