Cabinetdeals is transforming the traditional kitchen showroom experience by bringing it online. With deep knowledge of the kitchen cabinet industry, the client aimed to create an e-commerce platform that simplifies the process for homeowners and interior designers to purchase kitchen and bath cabinets. Their mission was to address customers’ fears—where to buy cabinets and how to ensure the desired outcome—by providing an intuitive, streamlined, and accessible online solution.

Involvement

Cabinetdeals came to MVP Masters with a bold vision and unique challenges inherent to the kitchen cabinet industry. Standard e-commerce solutions like Magento or Shopify couldn’t accommodate the industry’s complex specifications, requiring a custom-built solution.

Our team of engineers, product managers, and designers collaborated closely with the client to create a platform tailored to their needs. We structured a custom database to handle multiple catalogs and manufacturers, ensuring flexibility and scalability. The shopping experience was carefully crafted, incorporating advanced features such as the concept of "Sections" (e.g., kitchen island, main kitchen) to organize the cart for complex purchases.

We also implemented an efficient draft management system, allowing customers to save, review, and edit their cart before finalizing orders. The admin panel provided the client with powerful tools to manage catalogs, track customer interactions, and monitor sales seamlessly.

Our expertise extended beyond the e-commerce platform itself—we integrated crucial tools for marketing, sales, and customer support, such as Mailerlite for email campaigns, QuickBooks for financial management, Authorize.net for payments, and Tawk.to for live customer support.

By employing modern technologies like NextJS and NestJS, alongside a robust PostgreSQL database, we ensured the platform was fast, secure, and scalable.
